Grass fed Beef

Our all natural, grass-finished beef is dry-aged by our USDA-certified processor to achieve the pinnacle of flavor and tenderness.  Following dry-aging your meat will be flash frozen and vacuum packed to maintain its quality. We currently offer Old Homeplace Farm grassfed beeves as whole or half animals.  If you've never purchased freezer beef from us before, you may be interested in the Old Homeplace Farm Freezer Beef Fact Sheet, as it addresses many questions posed by first-time buyers.  You may also wish to look over a few cooking tips that we have found to work well in our kitchen.  Freezer beef price for 2011 is $3.00 per pound, hanging weight.

Pastured Lamb

We were pleased to begin offering Old Homeplace Farm pastured lamb in 2011.  The mild flavor of our pastured lamb is not quite as robust as Old Homeplace Farm grass fed beef, but that delicate character is part of its appeal!  Due to their relatively small size, we only sell our pastured lamb by the whole animal.  Pastured lamb price for 2011 is $6.50 per pound, hanging weight.
